Turkish actress Dilan Cicek Deniz has made history by becoming the first Turkish actress invited to the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party, one of the most exclusive events surrounding the Academy Awards. She attended the event in Hollywood as part of the 98th Academy Awards celebrations.

Born on February 28, 1995, in Sivas, Deniz rose to prominence through a combination of modeling and acting. She finished second in the 2014 Miss Türkiye competition and later represented Türkiye internationally in a global beauty pageant.
She began her acting career with the series "Tatli Kucuk Yalancilar," and went on to appear in productions such as "Gunesin Kizlari" and "Bodrum Masali." Her breakthrough came with the role of Sena in the popular series "Cukur," which significantly increased her visibility. She later appeared in "Alev Alev" and took part in digital projects as well as theatre, including a leading role in the play "Amadeus."
Her background also includes formal studies in Comparative Literature at Istanbul University, along with early training in theatre during her school years.
Deniz’s artistic journey began at a young age, as she spent several years studying theatre in high school and received an award in a theatre competition at the age of 17. She also published a poetry book titled “Gunesi Annem Sanirdim” at the age of 15, reflecting an early engagement with creative writing.
Her rise in the entertainment industry was further recognized in 2016 when she received the Pantene Altin Kelebek award for “rising star.”
