Türkiye is expected to experience a week of intermittent rainfall across most regions, with temperatures continuing to remain below seasonal norms, according to forecasts issued by the State Meteorological Service.

Meteorology expert Mehmet Ozdemirci stated that precipitation will be particularly effective in the eastern parts of the country at the beginning of the week.

Showers are expected across the Eastern Black Sea region, southeastern Central Anatolia, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the eastern Mediterranean. Localized heavy rainfall is forecast for Hatay, Osmaniye, Gaziantep, and Kilis provinces.

A new weather system approaching from the northwestern regions is expected to bring additional rainfall starting Tuesday.

This system will first affect the Marmara region, inland areas of the Western Black Sea, and parts of Central Anatolia.

By Wednesday, rainfall is expected to spread more widely, covering the Marmara and Aegean regions, the Western Mediterranean, northern and eastern Central Anatolia, the Western Black Sea, and the western sections of Eastern Anatolia. Showers are also anticipated to persist across large parts of the country on Thursday.
