Galatasaray has become the most valuable team in the history of Turkish football after its squad valuation rose to €337M, according to figures published by Transfermarkt.

The Istanbul club boosted its market value through extensive recruitment in both the summer and winter transfer windows, increasing the squad’s worth by nearly €30 million from the beginning of the season.

The figure makes Galatasaray the first Super Lig club to exceed the €330 million threshold.

The rise has widened the gap between Galatasaray and their domestic rivals. Fenerbahce sits second with a squad value of €236.5 million, leaving a difference of more than €100 million.

Besiktas ranks third at €178.5 million, followed by Trabzonspor at €99.4 million and Basaksehir at €71.65 million.

Fatih Karagumruk, valued at €15.68 million, remains the lowest-ranked club in the league.

Transfer spending across the Super Lig reached €475 million during the summer and winter windows, with the majority of that total concentrated among the country’s biggest clubs. The so-called “big four” accounted for approximately €450 million of the league’s total expenditure.

Galatasaray topped the spending chart with €157 million, ahead of Besiktas (€129 million), Fenerbahce (€124 million) and Trabzonspor (€38 million).

Big spending led by Osimhen transfer

Total transfer and loan spending across the Super Lig reached €475 million during the current season, with roughly €450 million of that amount accounted for by Türkiye’s four biggest clubs.

Galatasaray led the list with €157 million, ahead of Besiktas (€129 million), Fenerbahce (€124 million), and Trabzonspor (€38 million).

A significant share of Galatasaray’s investment was allocated to Victor Osimhen, whose €75 million transfer fee represented nearly half of the club’s total spending and made him the most expensive signing of the season in Turkish football.

He was followed by Galatasaray’s Singo, signed for €30 million, while Fenerbahce’s Guendouzi (€28 million) and Galatasaray goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakİr (€27.5 million) were among the other high-profile transfers.
