What does a 63-year-old television star do after decades in the spotlight? In Seda Sayan's case, the answer appears to be YouTube, and reportedly ₺200 million (about $4.13 million) in new advertising deals as she reaches out to a new generation of viewers.
The veteran television and stage personality, who has recently shifted more of her work toward YouTube and other digital platforms, is said to have agreed to separate ₺50 million (about $1.03 million) deals with each brand.
The reported agreements come as Sayan builds up a different kind of audience through "Bacilarin Bacisi," her YouTube program, moving beyond the television formats that have long formed a major part of her public career.
Rather than relying solely on conventional television appearances, Sayan has recently put more emphasis on digital projects, with "Bacilarin Bacisi" becoming one of the main examples of this shift.
Her move into YouTube has allowed the 63-year-old entertainer to present herself through a different format while reaching audiences through platforms increasingly associated with younger viewers.
Sayan is also reportedly working on another digital format and has put some television projects offered to her on hold as she focuses on this new direction.
That shift is now reportedly feeding into Sayan's commercial partnerships, with the entertainer said to have signed one-year agreements with four separate brands.
The first campaign under the reported deals has already come out, with Sayan appearing in an advertisement for the digital education platform UcDortBes All Star.
Promotional films for the other three brands are expected to be released in the coming days.
If the reported figures are accurate, the four agreements would bring Sayan ₺200 million (about $4.13 million) in total advertising income, highlighting the commercial scale of her latest move into digital media.
Born Aysel Gursacer in Istanbul on Dec. 30, 1962, Sayan is a Turkish singer, actress and television presenter whose career has stretched across nearly five decades.
She began performing in the late 1970s before moving into music, film, and eventually television, where she became one of Türkiye's most recognizable daytime personalities.
After establishing herself as a singer and actress, Sayan increasingly moved into television presenting during the 1990s.
She later became closely associated with long-running daytime programs, particularly shows carrying her own name, and also appeared as a judge or presenter on major Turkish entertainment formats including O Ses Türkiye, the local version of The Voice, and Yemekteyiz, a competitive cooking program.
Her music career has run alongside her television work, spanning albums released from the 1980s onward and singles continuing into the 2020s. Her recorded output includes releases as recently as 2025.
Now 63, Sayan is extending that public profile into digital media through her YouTube program "Bacilarin Bacisi." Her latest reported advertising agreements come as she puts greater emphasis on online formats, adding a new digital chapter to a career previously built largely through television, music, and stage performances.
