Ridvan Golcuk is the director of the Yasar Museum. After beginning his museum career in 2007, he held roles as art historian, researcher, and museum director in Kocaeli, where he launched pioneering outreach projects such as the “Mobile Suitcase Museum.” From 2019 to 2025, he led the award-winning Troy Museum, elevating its international recognition with innovative museology practices. He holds a master’s degree in archaeology focused on cultural diplomacy and is pursuing a PhD at Kocaeli University.
