Dr. Hasan Mesut Onder graduated from the Department of Economics at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University with a bachelor’s degree. He completed his master’s degree in the Department of International Relations at the same university with a thesis titled “The Intelligence–Foreign Policy Relationship: The Panopticon Model and Israel.” He received his Ph.D. with a dissertation titled “The Use of Intelligence in the Process of Securitization: The Case of the U.S. Invasion of Iraq.” His research interests include intelligence theory, leadership profile analysis, security theories, Middle Eastern politics, and the intelligence services of Israel and the United States.
